Some Ways to Get to Know People and Make a Contribution
- Come to worship on Sunday mornings.
- Join us for coffee hour and meet people.
- Make a nametag and wear it.
- Lift up the names of your loved ones in our time for celebrations and prayer concerns.

Send a card or make a call to someone in the church.

Sign up to be an usher, greeter, or coffee hour host (see sign-up poster in the hall). You can
sign up with someone who has done it before! We now have instructions we will send out to you if you sign up.
- Sign up to help out in the nursery (see sign-up poster in hall).
- Be a liturgist (speak with Debbie).
- Take part in a Wider Missions project:
- Help cook or serve a meal at Turning Point Shelter (3rd Thursday of each month).
- Bring food for A Place To Turn food pantry (leave it in the baskets in the entry to the sanctuary.
- Buy a blanket, participate in One Less Gift (Christmas gifts for folks in need)
- Keep your ears open for other special missions projects.

Help out at the Village Fair (usually 3rd Sat. in Oct.) See Joanie White for details (877-7580)
- Sign up to work the day of the fair
- Come for the Pie Bake
- Bake, make crafts, contribute Yard Sale items
- Be on the fair committee

Attend the Adult Sunday School class (each Sunday at 9 a.m. in Jonathan House). Led by Sue Dickerman (881-0656)

Attend the Wednesday evening Bible Study class--2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., currently let by Lee Anne Holte, student pastor

Join the choir! Rehearsals are Sundays at 9 a.m., some Thursdays at 7:15 p.m., some Sundays after coffee hour. See Jane Ezbicki (877-7195).

Share lunch with the Wednesday Lunch Bunch--noon on alternate Wednesdays, in the Pastor’s Study. Bring your own lunch!

Help the Trustees with the upkeep of the building and grounds
- Come to the fall and spring clean-up days.
- Let Paul Hooper (788-0695) know if you are available to help out on an occasional basis.

Join the Edwardian Gentlemen Singers (See Jane Ezbicki for more details).

Attend the All-Church Retreat in the Spring.

Assist the pastor at two nursing home worship services on the first Wednesday of each month, or one on the first Tuesday of each month.

Volunteer to teach Sunday School or work with a youth group.

Make loaves of bread to be given to visitors on Sunday mornings.

Volunteer to be a counter (help count and record financial contributions after church one Sunday a month)

Serve on a board or committee, or visit one to check it out

Attend a Church Council meeting to learn more about how we operate (third Tuesday of every month).

Read the Steeple and the announcements in the Sunday bulletin, and call the church office or ask someone if things don’t make sense!!!
