As they came near the village to which they were going, he walked ahead as if he were going on. But they urged him strongly, saying, ‘Stay with us, because it is almost evening and the day is now nearly over.’ So he went in to stay with them. When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him; and he vanished from their sight. When my eyes were healed
I looked up to what I thought I saw
I thought, if this is really true
You will be made aware beyond belief
It’s not like that all of a sudden awareness
but a gradual understanding
To where there is that tipping point
When all possible doubt is removed
That feeling of OH MY GOD!!!
Where it seems as though I can feel
That special feeling of warmth in my blood
Like it’s laced with that something
That silences my obsession with my prayer
That feeling of wholeness
That feeling of being complete
Lord I feel You!
