The month of November invites us to explore the themes of giving and gratefulness. Christian Explorers receive a letter each month with a project and a prayer, a passage to read from the Bible and something to think about.
What a great time we had at the Edwards Church Trunk-or-Treat event! Thank you to everyone who helped to make it so special.
Here are some special projects this month…
- Making thank-you notes for veterans to be delivered with a meal of appreciation on November 15. Christian Explorers will get a blank card, stickers and a crayon to create a message of thanks and return the card to Karen Nell by Friday, November 14.
- “Let me tell you a story…” Friends from our congregation read stories that you can listen to and watch whenever you want. They will be in included in the weekly Christian Explorer’s email.
- Penny jar contest!!! How much money have we put in the penny jar? Make a guess and send it to Karen Nell at choresis@comcast.net by Friday, November 20. The person whose guess is closest and not over the actual amount will receive a special surprise.
- Finally, watch for information about our Christmas Pageant by Zoom. Everyone is invited to play a part!
