Opportunities to contribute to the ministry of Edwards Church
Stewardship: What we do matters!
We are so grateful for the many ways you support Edwards Church. Your financial support enables us to support our staff and programs, maintain our beautiful campus, and fulfill our mission. If you are able to make a pledge for 2025, it helps us budget faithfully and effectively.
The Stewardship Team invites you to view the letter that was sent out recently, the tools to help you make a decision, the giving card, and a confidential google form if you’d like to make your pledge on-line.
Second Adults for Faith formation
We are looking for volunteers to be the Second Adult to support our young people—sometimes in the tent/pray ground in the sanctuary, sometimes in the Sue Dickerman Hall. You do not have to plan ahead; just come and enjoy our amazing young people. Sign up here: Second Adult Sign Up. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered for this fun time!
Two Amazing Celebrations for Edwards Church are on the Horizon!!
- The first milestone we will be celebrating is our 25th Anniversary of becoming an Open and Affirming congregation of the UCC. That happens this year and we hope to commemorate it on either September 14 or 21. If you would like to help with the planning of this event, please email Debbie Clark at debbiecl@aol.com or Debbie Roy at debbieroy1@me.com.
2. Edwards Church will turn 200 years old in November of that year. Since this is such a momentous occasion, we would like to start preliminary planning now. If you would like to serve on a committee to start this planning, please email Debbie Clark at debbiecl@aol.com or Deb Roy at debbieroy1@me.com.
Pool Party Time!
Yet another fun volunteer opportunity. Please consider helping to plan and carry out the annual pool party, which will be Sunday, August 3 in the afternoon. Please email Debbie Clark at debbiecl@aol.com if you’d like to help with planning, shopping, set-up, clean-up, or games for kids.
