Soulfire: Igniting Inner Strength in a Fractured World – A Conversation with Dr. Arthur P. Ciaramicoli
Sunday, February 1 – 4-5:30 pm in Edwards Hall
In honor of World Interfaith Harmony Week, Open Spirit’s Multi-Faith Collaborative invites you to a reflective and uplifting conversation about how we ignite our inner light. Our conversation will be led by author and psychologist Dr. Arthur P. Ciaramicoli, who has recently published a book entitled Soulfire: Igniting Inner Strength in a Fractured World. At the core of his book is this conviction: “You are not broken. Your light is enough.”
We will draw upon wisdom from his research and wisdom from our spiritual traditions for our conversation. And we’ll have tea and refreshments, of course. Please RSVP by emailing debbie@openspiritcenter.org for planning. Donations gratefully accepted!

Monthly Poetry Writing Workshop: Spirituality and Poetry; Grounded in Awe, Led by Lisa Breger
Monday, February 16 – 2-3:30 pm on Zoom
What stirs in us when we reach for a poem, whether sitting down to write or read the work of a favorite poet? Why do poems stay with us and continue to inform our lives?
In this workshop, we’ll approach poetry as a vehicle for living more fully in the present and deepening our humanity. Each month we’ll focus on an element of craft in the context of a particular theme to generate new work.
This class is for anyone interested in poetry as a spiritual practice and no previous writing experience is required to enjoy the pleasures of creative expression. Come join us and be inspired!
February’s workshop will be held on Zoom. A link to participate will be emailed to those who RSVP prior to the workshop. To RSVP, please click here.
Suggested donation of $20 appreciated. Donations may be made in-person by cash or check or mailed to Open Spirit at 39 Edwards Street, Framingham, MA 01701. If you prefer to donate via credit card, please click here.
