In March, our young people will explore our Lenten focus, Nourishing Community: Body, Mind, and Spirit. They will help us collect and count our 1,000 boxes of pasta. They will join in an intergenerational effort to create Easter bags for children whose families are connected with A Place to Turn food pantry. They will host a dessert auction to nourish us and raise money for the Incredible Days Service Project Trip.

Incredible Days Family Service Project Trip
April 10-12 – New Haven, CT
Sign up quickly (the deadline approaches!) for our second annual Family Service Project Trip! We will work with a group called “Incredible Days,” whose mission statement includes these words: The belief that we are all called to work for a more just world undergirds everything we do. As an organization, we proudly affirm the sanctity of all creation and the rich diversity of the world’s people, including people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
We will carpool Friday evening to Spring Glen UCC, near New Haven Connecticut, where we will spend the night. On Saturday, we will participate in two service projects. On Sunday, we’ll attend church, have lunch and return home.
We ask each participant to contribute between $25 and $100 toward the cost of the program. We will fundraise and draw upon our Youth Fund for the rest.
Sign up here or reach out to Debbie for more information.
Second Adult Sign-Up
To support our young people and teachers and to ensure a safe church for everyone, we are asking adults in the church to sign up to be a “Second Adult” each Sunday. You don’t have to prepare a thing; just come enjoy our amazing young people. You can sign up here: Second Adult Signup
