The Attention Revolution: A Four-Session Meditation Series Led by Tsering Yodsampa
Tuesday, March 31, April 7 & 21, and May 5 – 5-6:30 pm in Sue Dickerman Hall
Join us to learn about attentional training practices drawn from the ancient Indo-Tibetan tradition and explored in The Attention Revolution: Unlocking the Power of the Focused Mind by B. Alan Wallace, PhD. Learn skills to develop attention, inner calm, and caring presence, with time between sessions to integrate the practices into daily life.
Led by Tibetan Buddhist chaplain, Tsering Nogodup Yodsampa, this series will offer practical, accessible meditation methods drawn from understanding of neuroplasticity and mental health, that support focus, clarity, and well-being in today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world. **Appropriate for both new and experienced meditators.
Cost is $120 for full series. This may be prorated for those who register in advance and are unable to attend all sessions. Scholarships are available.

Monthly Poetry Writing Workshop: Spirituality and Poetry; Grounded in Awe, Led by Lisa Breger
Monday, April 20 – 2-3:30 pm in Edwards Hall
What stirs in us when we reach for a poem, whether sitting down to write or read the work of a favorite poet? Why do poems stay with us and continue to inform our lives?
In this workshop, we’ll approach poetry as a vehicle for living more fully in the present and deepening our humanity. Each month we’ll focus on an element of craft in the context of a particular theme to generate new work.
This class is for anyone interested in poetry as a spiritual practice and no previous writing experience is required to enjoy the pleasures of creative expression. Come join us and be inspired!
Suggested donation of $20 appreciated. Donations may be made in-person by cash or check or mailed to Open Spirit at 39 Edwards Street, Framingham, MA, 01701. If you prefer to donate via credit card, please click here.
