We are absolutely thrilled to announce this year’s keynote speaker is Kris Scopinich, the Vice President of Education for Mass Audubon! Kris will be sharing an incredible presentation on what nature can teach us about connection, harmony, and community.

Monthly Poetry Writing Workshop: Spirituality & Poetry: Grounded in Awe

This workshop is for anyone interested in poetry as a spiritual practice and creative outlet. No writing experience needed. All are welcome! Suggested donation of $20, more if you can, less if you can’t.

Writing for Healing * Starting on September 22 *
Led by Jackie Harris
Tuesdays @ 1-2 pm in Edwards Hall: September 22 & 29 and October 6, 13, 20, & 27
Through weekly writing exercises and prompts, these writing sessions will offer an open and safe environment to express yourself, find personal balance, and shape new narratives.
The intent of this writing series is to experience expressive writing as a way of healing. While writing may not cure it, it can heal, according to scientific studies. Especially in this time of great uncertainty, writing, and sharing our stories with others on parallel paths will be a way to reclaim our voices and reconnect with our lives. *Sharing is encouraged but not mandatory.

Open Mic Night * September 25 *
Hosted by Open Spirit and Metrowest Sings Out
4th Friday of each Month – 7-9 pm in Edwards Hall
Performance sign-ups are in-person only and will run from 6:30-7 pm.
Cost is $5-$10, more if you can, less if you can’t. Kids are free.
All proceeds benefit Metrowest Worker Center – Casa, to provide direct aid to our immigrant neighbors.
