The Edwards Church Music Program
Our worship service is enhanced by the creativity and talent of many musicians.
We are grateful for the beautiful organ music offered by Cheryl Elkins and by Susan Minor’s gifts on our grand piano!
The choir, directed by Cheryl and Susan, strengthens the congregation’s voice and offers a special anthem every week. Several special Music Sundays, including Christmas and Easter, feature an expanded choir. Any season is a good time to join the choir.
Periodically, we are blessed with a jazz quartet, solo guitar, bluegrass band or a string ensemble.
Our Music Committee's 2023 annual report is available.

Fall Opportunities and Offerings
The Music Team is excited to offer a wide variety of opportunities and offerings this fall. We are experimenting with a couple new approaches: Knowing that there are talented, enthusiastic singers who are not available for regular Thursday night rehearsals, we are trying a “Rise-Up Choir.” As in, rise a little early that Sunday, […]
From the Choir Director
Welcome, 2023! I wish to extend a very sincere thank you to everyone who helped Edwards Church Music shine this Advent, often with their own guidance as I focused on trying to learn our new technology, a continuing work in progress. From our choristers and our Morning Glory songsters, to our soloists in our […]

From the Choir Director
A Season of Anticipation Thank you, thank you! In the time between my writing and your reading of this article, we will be even closer to our financial goal to have the finest technology we could imagine. It is to be installed at the beginning of Advent. How exciting! (How nerve-wracking!) So many mixed emotions […]
